Step 1 Revision
Dictate some phrases.
Ask students to make sentences with the phrases.
Step 2 Ask What things can you do? and What things can’t you do? Write.
go out at night
collect stamps
be alone at home
have part- time job
choose their own clothes
Make sentences
Answer the questions by using the phrases. Revise to learn new lesson.

Say the words and have students repeat over and over again.
Step 2.
Write the words “should be allowed to do” and “should not be allowed to do ” side by side on the blackboard. Then ask students questions about things that their parents say they can and can’t do.
Step 3 1b
Read the instructions to the class. Say, You will hear a conversation between Anna and her mother. They don’t agree with everything.
Step 4.1c
Call students’ attention to the phrases in the left box. Invite a student to read them to the class.
Invite another student to read the statements in Activity 1a.
III.Summary.
In this class, we’ve learned a most useful structure be allowed to do and we’ve done much listening and oral practice using the target language .
