These developments have posed new challenges to the educationalists as a number of new theorists have emerged, in Germany and the USA, who questioned the value of established social and educational principles-including the school curriculum- by the application of the critical pedagogy. The present descriptive-analytical study aimed at defining the basic features of the school curriculum on the basis of the new critical approaches.
