Introduction
Most of senior students complain that they make great efforts on English learning, but they still can’t get good results. Most of them lack learning skills which are affected by learning styles. They most tend to one learning style, especially visual learning style. To let them learn English efficiently, the author tries her best to investigate these problems and try to find some ways to solve the problems. 3 questions are raised for this purpose:
1). What are most senior students’s learning styles?
2). What cause them to be visual learners?
3). How to use learning styles to make them study English efficiently?
2. Literature review
According to H.D. Brown cited in Keefe (1979:4), learning styles might be thought of as “cognitive, affective, and logically traits that are relatively stable indicators of how learners perceive, interact with, and respond to the learning environment.” For the learning styles, there is a comprehensive classification which is “classified by the way of accepting knowledge ------visual learners, auditory learners and tactile/ kinesthetic learners.” QuanYajun cited from Reid (1987).
