9B Unit1 Comic strip and welcome to the unit 第1课时 教学目标: 1. Learn about some traditional Chinese things. 2. Recognize the places of interest in China. 教学重点、难点: 1.Vocabulary about the things related to China. 2.The location about some places of interest 教学方法与手段:Task—based approach. 教学过程 Part One 预习作业预习交流 A Read the new words. B 重要短语 (见课时作业本) 核对答案----提示注意点----读背短语 Part Two 展示交流 Step1.Introduction show a map of the world to the students. Ask them to find the seven continents and four oceans. Ask the students: Who has been to Thailand/Korea/Malaysia/Singapore/Japan? Which country would you like to visit the countries above? Tell the students the Chinese history briefly. (Help the students learn a lot about China and other countries.) Step2 Presentation. 1 .Discuss the Chinese culture .such as the Great Wall, the Giant panda ,the Chinese spring festival etc. 2.Then comes to the comic strip. Eddie and Hobo are visiting the Great Wall. What do they think of it? Step 3.Ask and answer What does Hobo think of the Great Wall? Does Eddie like visiting the Great Wall? (3)Do you think will Eddie continue to the end? Step4 Practice Ask the students follow the tape. Then read the conversation together. Ask some pairs to act it. Step5 Presentation Show some pictures about the Chinese things to students. Ask them to talk about them. Write the correct names under the pictures. After that, check the answers. Kevin is asking Millie for suggestions on his travel plan.Read their conversation. Discussion What places of interest have you been to in China? Can you tell us something about those places? Make a conversation like Kevin and Millie’s. Part Three 检测反馈 Homework Do some exercises Preview “Reading” and do some exercises about it.
