POLICY: Merit salary increases for employees of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ or

1. Classified Employee (Salary Schedule A or B): An employee in a classified position in Salary
Schedule A or B as specified by the State Position Classification Act.
2. Demotion:
