William Fulbright I. Introduction Students at Clarion are encouraged to participate in the many study abroad opportunities available. The programs include short-term programs during the summer or winter intersession, semester programs and academic year programs. The spectrum of possibilities is wide given both the variety of affiliation and exchange agreements Clarion University has in place. Partner institutions are: the University of Bamberg-Germany, the University of Lille-France, Inlingua Institute- Ecuador, Belgrano University-Argentina, Dublin Business College-Ireland, the University of Costa Rica, and the University of Malta, Daegu University, Korea, among others. Other options are offered through the International Student Exchange Program (I.S.E.P) , Cultural Experiences Abroad (C.E.A.), and Global Amizade. All these options offer a spectrum of countries students can visit, located on five continents, with many sites offering courses taught in English. Some of the opportunities allow students to intern abroad as well. Additionally, Clarion students can study abroad on a program offered by one of the State System universities, while remaining a Clarion University student. Financial aid and scholarships may apply to study abroad as long as the credits transfer. II. Why should you study abroad?
