Ability aims: To say chant follow the Flash. To express different time correctly. 3. Emotional aim: Make the Ss. cherish the time. 重 点 任 务 Teaching important point: To read words correctly. To say the chant loudly 难 点 任 务 Teaching difficult points: Use the new words to say time. 板 书 设 计 Unit 4 Time Lesson 1 What time is it? It’s eleven o’ clock. Greet the whole class as usual. 2).Divide Ss. into 3 groups to have a match. If they did a good job, their group can get a sticker every time. Step2. Revision 1. Say a chant about numbers together(show them on the screen). 2. Listen to a new voice and guess what it is. Step3. Lead-in 1) Show them a voice and let them listen to it together and say what it is .Then, learn a new word: clock. 2) Lead Ss. to learn new lesson: “What can we know from the clock?” Step4. Presentation 1) T. shows a model clock and moves two hands, T.: What time is it? Ss. : It’s one. T.: Yes, It’s one o’clock. You use oclock after numbers from one to twelve to say what time it is. For example, if you say that it is 9 oclock 2) T. moves the clock hands and asks: What time is it? Then, lead Ss. to learn new words one by one. 3) T. shows a new chant about time on the screen: First, listen to it. Second, T. says, Ss. clap their hands in rhyme together. Step5. Drills 1). Ss. repeat the words follow T. and then read them one by one. (T. leads Ss. to read by different ways) 2). A guessing game.(on the screen) T. hides a part of the words, asks
