B.Process and methods Practising and Explaining C. Emotion, attitude and values Learning to understand the importance of small talks. (2)教学重点 Let the students learn to read with strategies (3)教学难点 How to improve students skill of reading and master more vocabulary. (4)教学建议 Train students speaking ability through talking about the skills of small talks. 新课导入设计 Sample1 Talk about the novel “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” and its writer Some students may not be familiar with the wrtiting above, so teacher can introduce the text in Chinese or pictures on board in order to understand the reading easily Sample 2 Show the Post of “The lord of the Ring” on the screen , because the film are known to some students. So teacher can let some of them introduce the film to the whole class. 【新课教学过程(一)】 Module 2 Fantasy Literature Period 4 Cultural Corner Step 1 Revision(15minutes ) 1. Review the text learned last class by reading the text and questioning the language points. 2. Finish the Wb. Ex. 3. Dictate the new words and important phrases in the text. Step 2 Reading(10minutes)) 1. Ask the students to read the text by themselves. Understand the general ideas of the text. 2. Pair work: Discuss the questions at the top of the story Step 3 Presentation (15minutes) Read the story for the students, doing translation. Write the important phases on the blackboard. Step 4 Reading Ask the students to read the story again to raise their questions. Step 5 Writing Write down their opinions about the story. If the time isn’t enough in class, they ca
