Methods: type 2 diabetes with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) patients 55 patients were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group (n = 30) joined with ALA 600 mg in 250 mL normal saline intravenous infusion, day 1 continuous 14 d; the control group (n = 22) by adding methylcobalamin physiological 500g 100 mL of saline infusion, day 1 assessment of two consecutive 14 d. Before treatment, the treatment of neurological symptoms on day 15 to record all adverse events to determine their correlation with the drug. Results: After mecobalamin day 15 in patients with neurological symptoms had improved, TSS mean improvement of 3.62 points (P lt;0.01).
