 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 11 Adult brain glioma grade Ⅱ Clinical analysis of postoperative concurrent chemoradiotherapy 【Abstract】 Objective prospective study of adult glioma grade Ⅱ after concurrent chemoradiotherapy in patients with chemotherapy. Methods in September 1999 ~ May 2003 treated 80 cases of grade Ⅱ or above adult glioma patients were randomly divided into two groups, all 40 cases. ① radiotherapy alone group, line radiotherapy, DT50 ~ 60 Gy; ② Concurrent chemotherapy group given radiotherapy alone group with the same radiotherapy methods, while in the DT20 Gy Across synchronization Teniposide (VM  26) Joint Secretary, Secretary Mo Ting (Me  CCNU) chemotherapy and radiotherapy after the start at 4 to 6 months to complete 4 to 6 cycles of chemotherapy. Results Postoperative concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy group, 1,3,5-year survival rates were 85.00%, 52.50%, 30.00%, superior to postoperative radiotherapy group 62.50%, 27.50%, 15.00% (χ2 = 5.07, P = 0.024 ). Compared according to different pathological grade, Ⅲ grade glioma survival rate of concurrent chemoradiotherapy is superior to radiotherapy alone (χ2 = 3.96, P = 0.047), while Ⅱ and Ⅳ grade glioma of the above-mentioned two kinds of therapy no difference in survival. Conclusions Adult Ⅲ grade glioma patients after 20 Gy external irradiation Across synchronization MV chemotherapy, the prognosis is better than postoperative radiotherapy; for Ⅳ grade glioma patients, their postoperative chemotherapy and radiotherapy and chemotherapy combinations, is still need to be explored; Grade Ⅱ of adult glioma patients do not have to give chemotherapy combination therapy.
