Methods A randomized controlled method, 90 patients with IBS were randomly divided into treatment group (45 cases) and control group (45 cases), 15 days to observe the effect. The results of the treatment group significantly the efficiency and total effective rates were 57.8% and 96.6% in the control group were 26.7% and 66.6%, the difference was significant. Conclusion The compound co-citrate alverine Simotang can effectively ease the diarrhea-predominant IBS patients with clinical symptoms, significant short-term effect.
