PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 15 Anti-aging medicine to the free radical scavenging effect of research [Abstract] an overview of anti-aging medicine antioxidant and anti-oxidation mechanism, put forward the question to be studied in future to combat aging medicine further research and development of great significance. [Keywords:] radical anti-aging medicine Progress of studies for scavenging free radical on antiaging traditional Chinese medicine [Abstract] This paper reviewed antiaging traditional Chinese medicine which have the antioxidative components and mechanism. The future developing direction in this fileld was proposed and further studies on antiaging traditional Chinese medicine is worth making. [Key Words] Antiaging; traditional Chinese medicine; free radical Harman in 1956, British scholar on the basis of previous research work, formally proposed to the scientific community free radical theory of aging [1]. The theory holds that aging is mainly due to human cells in the metabolic process of the continuous generation of free radicals. The nature of free radicals is a kind of lively, with strong oxidation ability of chemicals. Produced during the metabolism of instability in accumulation of free radicals in cells, causing oxidation of unsaturated fatty acid peroxides, the formation of lipofuscin (lipofuscin, LF), enabling the cell and its important components, such as DNA, proteins and enzymes, etc. altered or damaged, leading to body aging. Aging is the body’s natural metabolic process in a natural stage, with age resulting in a series of physiological and anatomical changes, mainly for the body’s ability to adapt gradually decreased internal and external environment as well as loss of a late stage in life organisms arising from the progressive, systemic, multi-factor interaction of gradual degradation processes. The human body itself can produce free radical damage to defensive substances. However, with increasing age, the ability to produce these subst
