 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 14 Astragalus combination of Newcastle disease virus induced endogenous interferon research [Abstract] Objective To study the Newcastle disease virus (NDV) combination of astragalus root in mice induced endogenous interferon-α and immune regulation in mice. Methods Experiments were divided into three parts, experiment 1: each of NDV, Astragalus and combined treatment of oral spray drug delivery to the mice for 10 in the future to ELISA, interferon-α in mouse saliva and SIgA content; Experiment 2: difference with NDV, Astragalus, and combined treatment administered to the mice by intraperitoneal injection (Astragalus intragastric administration methods), ELISA determination of the future administration of 10 serum levels of interferon-α ; Experiment 3: is divided into NDV, Astragalus, and the two combination of high, medium and low three doses, administration approach with the second group, six days after the determination of MTT spleen NK cell activity. The results of oral administration of NDV and astragalus can increase saliva mouse interferon-α (35.54 ± 10.20 IU / ml, 5.69 ± 1.35 IU / ml), and SIgA levels (68.88 ± 15.47 ng / ml, 44.32 ± 9.87 ng / ml) , intraperitoneal administration can be induced serum interferon-α (120.54 ± 29.21 IU / ml, 10.69 ± 6.35 IU / ml), and can activate NK cell activity (50.4%, 32.1%). Astragalus combination group of NDV induced effects is much higher than used alone group (98.55 ± 16.95IU/ml, 101.31 ± 27.59ng/ml, 262.55 ± 26.91IU/ml, 75.6%), showed a strong synergy. Conclusion NDV can be induced in mice Astragalus combination of endogenous interferon, and can play right mouse SIgA and the role of NK cells in immune regulation.
