Methods injected streptozotocin streptozotocin (STZ) rat model prepared by DM were divided into 4 groups: normal group, DM group, APS low and high dose group, the experiment 6 w. by immunofluorescence to detect the expression of renal AQP 2, electron microscopy renal ultrastructure in rats, simple method to measure metabolic cages 24 h urine of rats, and measured kidney weight / body weight, microalbuminuria (UAER) excretion rate and endogenous creatinine clearance rate (Ccr) and so on. Results DM rats kidney medulla AQP 2 expression increased significantly compared with the normal group, APS can inhibit the expression of AQP 2 DM kidney. DM group was significantly ultrastructure of rat kidney degeneration, APS intervention could improve its ultra- microstructure. DM rats urine volume was significantly higher than the normal group (P lt;0.01), APS DM rats increased urine volume (P lt;0.01). APS low dose group and high dose rats UAER, Ccr, kidney weight / weighing less than DM group (P lt;0.01). Conclusion APS reduced renal medullary AQP 2 over-expression, ease DM Shuinazhuliu, protect the kidneys.
