 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 11 Atherosclerosis cerebral infarction and human MHC-DRB1 gene polymorphism association study [Abstract] Objective To investigate the northern Chinese Han people atherosclerosis cerebral infarction (atherothrombotic cerebral infarction, ABI) and the establishment of the molecular mechanism of susceptibility to a more practical nature of the human major histocompatibility complex (major histocompatibility complex, MHC)-DRB1 * allele detection methods. Methods Polymerase chain reaction and sequence-specific primers (polymerase chain reaction-sequence specific primer, PCR-SSP) method of genetic analysis of 36 cases of ABI patients and 32 cases of unrelated healthy people of all other MHC-DRB1 * bit gene detection analysis and the method with the other three kinds of test method and compared with MHC genes. Results The results showed that, MHC-DRB1 * 0301 gene and ABI was positively correlated (RR = 5.46, P amp;lt;0.05), the other MHC-DRB1 * alleles there was no statistical difference. Conclusion This study results suggest that MHC-DRB1 * 0301 gene may be people in northern Han Chinese, one of ABI’s disease susceptibility genes, in order to reveal the ABI in the pathogenesis of the immune mechanism of the role of genetics provides important information and grounds. Although MHC-DR genotyping methods have a variety, but the method used in this paper a rapid, simple, accurate and reliable, etc., is worth popularizing.
