As the elderly organ dysfunction, age-related diabetic nephropathy (DN) is a threat to the health of elderly patients with major complication .2004-2009, the author uses blood and kidney, and descending the turbid phlegm herbs to achieve better treatment of senile DN effect, are reported below. 1 Materials and Methods 1.1 Case selection criteria Over 60 years of age, in line with the World Health Organization established in 1999 with type 2 diabetes diagnostic criteria [1], and the clinical diagnosis of DN, based on the original TCM Chinese Medical Association Diabetes Committee of the development of diabetes disease (diabetes) syndrome diagnostic criteria [2], is a kidney cloud pan card, phlegm retention syndrome. 1.2 General Information Select 2004-2009 in our hospital outpatient and inpatient treatment of DN on 60 patients, 37 patients were male, 23 female, 22 years duration of the longest and the shortest 1 month.
