Method The HPLC method was used to determine the content of icariin from Jiawei Wuzi Yanzong Pill. The analysis was carried out on Lichrospher C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) with acetonitrile-water (30:70) as mobile phase, flow-rate of 1.0 mL / min and wave-length at 270 nm at 30 ℃. Results The liner range of icariin was 0.28 ~ 2.60 μg with a correlation (r) of 0.999 9. The recovery was 100.86% with RSD of 0.71%. Conclusion The method had good reproducibility and sensitivity to determine the content of icariin from Jiawei Wuzi Yanzong Pill.
