Methods 27 patients with liver cirrhosis in patients with conventional endoscopy, confirmed the extent of esophageal varices, and then under the endoscopic variceal vein for emergency, elective single or multiple ligation, 7 cases of esophageal variceal bleeding in patients under emergency gastroscopy gastroscopy parallel ligation, 20 patients undergoing elective gastroscopy ligation. The results of 27 cases of liver sclerosis patients ligation of esophageal varices in 25 cases (92.6%) in 2 to 3 weeks after repeated endoscopy, varicose veins were significantly reduced levels, some patients with varicose veins disappear, emergency rescue and elective gastroscopy ligation bleeding more than 90% success rate. Conclusion Endoscopic variceal ligation is the treatment of esophageal variceal bleeding and prevention of bleeding of effective measures. Methods Twenty seven patients with esophageal varices due to liver cirrhosis was diag nosed by endoscopy.7 cases of them underwent endoscopic variceal ligation for emergency treatment of esophageal variceal bleeding, and 22 cases underwent selective endoscopic variceal ligation.The procedure was performed once or several times.
