[Methods] Immunohistochemistry detected 76 cases of patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma pathological expression of IGFBP-6, and IGFBP-6 expression and the clinical characteristics and prognosis of NPC patients explore the relationship between; by MTS method Detection of IGFBP-6 CNE2 nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line proliferation. [results] IGFBP-6 expression in NPC-negative group and positive group of patients with 5-year overall survival rates were 27% and 73% (survival analysis P = 0.007), 5-year local recurrence-free survival rates were 38% and 75% (P = 0.001), 5 years, distant metastasis-free survival rates were 53% and 89% (P = 0.002).
