Methods 75 patients with X-ray and CT films were observed in cervical spinous process, transverse process of the connection, Huan - Tooth joint space, and the spinous process odontoid bisector. Results of the cervical spine in all patients with anteroposterior and lateral image as the spinous process and transverse process on the connection are not in the same line; 39 cases there atlas - odontoid joint wide-ranging gap; 51 patients with odontoid process of axis bisector exists spinous process deflection. Conclusion The imaging findings of cervical rotation typical, familiar with their performance contribute to the diagnosis. The changes of the connective line of the cervical spinous process, transverse process, the spatium of articulus atlantodentalis ventralis, the equally divided line of spinous process and dentoid process of axis were observed respectively.Results The connective lines of the cervical spinous process and transverse process of all patients, which were in the anterioposterior and latera film of cervical spine, were not distributed on an identical line; 39 cases with the spatium of articulus atlantodentalis ventralis appeared asymmetrical; 51 cases with the equally divided line of spinous process and dentoid process of axis were of deflection.Conclusions Imaging of axial rotation of the cervical spine has tipical manifestation, which is helpful to the diagnosis.
