Methods SD rats were divided into 4 months (4 m), 24 m, 24 m + EF, and 24 m + Ica set of 10 each. hippocampal rats in each group were taken and lung tissue, with inflammatory cytokine and receptor gene chip organizations in each group separately on gene expression. Results (1) hippocampus: 24 m group and 4 m group, upregulation of proinflammatory cytokines; also anti-inflammatory cells factor down .24 m + EF group, 24 m + Ica group and 24 m group, showing a large number of anti-inflammatory cytokine increases in the pro-inflammatory cytokines down. (2) lung tissue: 24 m group compared with the 4 m, and promote regulation of inflammatory cytokines, while anti-inflammatory cytokine down .24 m + EF group, 24 m + Ica group compared with the 24 m and found a large number of anti-inflammatory cytokine increases in the lower pro-inflammatory cytokines. Conclusion old rats there is pro-inflammatory regulation of cytokine gene expression and downregulation of anti-inflammatory factors, resulting in promoting anti-inflammatory cytokine network imbalance; EF and Ica may be through down gene expression of proinflammatory cytokines and increased anti-inflammatory cytokine gene expression, remodeling promoting anti-inflammatory cytokine network balance and interfere with inflammatory aging.
