Abstract: Objective To investigate the Kombucha on immune function in vitro. Methods Balb / c mice 30, weighing 18 ~ 22 g, were randomly divided into two groups, with Kombucha liquid fed to mice were killed after 30 d in order to MTT determination of NK cell-killing activity; to peritoneal macrophages method of evaluation of Candida albicans phagocytosis of macrophage phagocytosis; to thymocyte proliferation law and the spleen cell proliferation assay were the biological activity of IL1 and IL2. Results Kombucha can significantly increase NK cell-killing activity; macrophage phagocytosis markedly enhanced; Kombucha gavage group of IL1 and IL2 activity were: 0.549 ± 0.024,0.405 ± 0.018; control group were: 0.341 ± 0.021,0.361 ± 0.011, the experimental group and control group, IL1, IL2 activity significantly increased (P lt;0.01). Conclusion Kombucha can significantly enhance the immune function in mice.

Abstract: ObjectiveTo investigate the regulative effect of black tea fungus on the immunological function of mice. MethodsThirty Balb / c mice (weight 18 ~ 22 g) were randomly divided into two groups. All the mice were sacrificed after they had been given black tea fungus in intragastric administration for thirty days. The killing activity of NK cells were detected by MTT method, and peritoneal macrophage swallowing C. albicans test was used to appraise the phagocytes function. The activities of interleukin 1 and interleukin 2 were separately detected by mouse thymocyte or splenic cell proliferation test.ResultsThe activities of IL-1 and IL-2 of mice were 0.549 ± 0.024, 0.405 ± 0.018 in experimental group respectively; they were 0.341 ± 0.021 and 0.361 ± 0.011 respectively in control group.
