Methods A questionnaire survey of 126 cases of laparoscopic cholecystectomy in patients with health needs survey to ascertain the knowledge needs of patients. The results of more than 60% of the patients with a great need to understand the characteristics of laparoscopic surgery, surgical results, operative notes before and after surgical incision of the observation and care, observation and prevention of complications and postoperative discomfort of the treatment methods and knowledge of dietary guidance; the form of health education needs of the individual guidance of medical personnel (85.7%), followed by health manual (41.3%).
