Methods An Agilent zorbax SB-C18 column (4.6 mm × 150 mm, 5 μm) was applied. The gradient mobile phase composing of acetonitrile and 0.2% formic acid was used as the mobile phase, and the flow rate was 1.0 mL / min, detective wavelength was set at 255 nm. Results The results were obtained that quantitative line range of two isoflavones is 0.24 ~ 1.82 μg and 0.040 ~ 0.30 μg respectively , and the average recovery (n = 5) is 97.38% and 97.25% respectively. Conclusion A specific, sensitive, simple and reproducible HPLC method was established for the determination of the two isoflavones in functional foods.
