Methods of puerarin extraction rate as an indicator, using orthogonal experimental design study the best combination of extraction. The optimum results for the 55% ethanol as extraction agent, solid-liquid ratio 1:60 (g: ml), microwave extraction temperature 50 ℃ , extraction time 5 min. This process, the puerarin in puerarin extraction rate 3.58%, RSD 0.94%. Conclusion microwave-assisted extraction of puerarin time-saving and efficient. MethodsOptimum conditions of extraction puerarin were studied by orthogonal experimental method with extraction rate of puerarin as the index. ResultsThe optimum extraction conditions were as follows: ethanol-water solution as extraction solvent (volume fraction as 55%), the ratio of materials to solution was 1:60 (g: ml), microwave extraction temperature was 50 ℃ , and extraction time was 5 minutes. Through such technical process, the extraction rate of puerarin was 3.58% and RSD was 0.94%. ConclusionThe microwave-assisted extraction of puerarin has some advantages, such as time-saving and high efficiency.
