Patients were found to have five cases of facial nerve canal with bone destruction, both in the horizontal section of part of the facial nerve exposure, but the sheath integrity, and no edema. Facial nerve canal no obvious lesions in 6 cases. Operation in cutting the chorda tympani nerve in 3 cases.
