Methods: A retrospective analysis of 8 cases of traumatic bone infarction MR performance, summarizes its performance characteristics. Results: 8 patients, 6 of the knee, 2 an ankle joint, a total of 18 lesions: five distal femur, proximal tibia 5, 3 femoral, tibial shaft 1, 2 distal tibia, talus, block 2, no involvement of the fibula. MR morphological characteristics : a small patch 5, irregular sizes like 16 maps, walking along the backbone of the long axis of the President Oval 3. Methods The MRI appearances of 8 cases of traumatic bone infarction were retrospectively analyzed and the MRI characteristics of them were summarized. Results Total 6 knee joint and 2 ankle of 8 patients, 18 bone infarctions were found, 5 were located in the distal femur, 5 in the proximal tibia, 3 in the femoral shaft, 1 in the tibial shaft, 2 in the distal end of tibia and 2 in the trochlea tali, no fibula involvement. MR showed shape features: small patching shape in 5 of them, irregular geographic shape in 16 of them, along the sagittal direction oval shape in 3 of them. MR showed signal features: single line sign in the rim of some foci, triple line sign in the rim of others foci and 2 small foci manifested patching long T1 long T2 signal.
