Methods 82 patients with clinically and pathologically confirmed lung cancer patients with brain metastases from head and MRI, and analyzed retrospectively. Results 82 cases of lung cancer patients with brain metastases in 52 cases of adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma in 18 cases, 10 cases of small cell lung cancer, lung cancer in 2 patients. lesions showed ring enhancement after enhancement in 21 cases, nodular enhancement in 35 cases, 17 cases of mixed reinforced, sheet enhancement in 4 cases, a simple linear meningeal enhancement in 5 cases. Conclusion MRI scans can help enhance the detection rate of lung cancer with brain metastasis, multiple ring enhancement and (or nodular enhanced lesions, peritumoral edema is its characteristic features. Methods MRI manifestations of 82 cases with brain metastases of lung cancer were retrospectively reviewed. Results 82 cases with lung cancer underwent the MRI examination of head, of which 52 cases were adenocarcinoma, 18cases squamous cell cancer, 10 cases small cell lung cancer, and 2 cases were alveolar carcinoma. Among all the cases, 21 cases showed ring-like enhancement, 35 cases nodular enhancement, 17cases mixed enhancement, 4 cases patch -like enhancement, and 5 cases displayed linear meningeal enhancement. Conclusion MRI with enhancement, which has remarkable characteristics such as multiple ring-like enhancement, nodular enhancement lesion and obvious edema around the lesion, is very helpful to the detection of brain metastases of lung canc
