Methods A retrospective analysis of patients with angle-closure glaucoma in 30 cases (34), in patients with varying degrees of lens opacity after admission underwent small incision cataract extraction and posterior chamber foldable intraocular lens implantation, follow-up period from 6 months to 2Year . The results of intraocular pressure were under control, IOP at 20mmHg in all patients below the 30 patients (88%) best-corrected visual acuity improved in varying degrees. Conclusion small incision cataract extraction and posterior chamber foldable intraocular lens implantation can be effective treatment for cataract angle-closure glaucoma, with blood pressure and increasing depending on the dual effect.
