Methods 50 patients NVs guava leaf diarrhea were randomly divided into treatment group (treatment group A, 30 cases) and smecta treatment group (treatment group B, 20 cases), and 20 healthy children were randomly selected as normal control group. by ELISA method 3 groups before treatment and the treatment group A, B after treatment saliva IFN-γ, IL-2 were determined. Results Before treatment, patients with diarrhea NVs IFN-γ, IL-2 was significantly higher than the control group (P lt;0.01). treatment group A IFN-γ, IL-2 was significantly higher in treatment group B no significant increase in treatment group A than group B (P lt;0.01). Conclusion NVs diarrhea IFN-γ, IL-2 levels were significantly higher than normal, guava leaves can increase saliva of patients with diarrhea NVs IFN-γ, IL-2 levels, regulate cellular immune function and promote the role of Th1 cellular immunity.
