Methods: Embolization of intracranial aneurysms in 8 cases, all patients with GDC embolization materials. Results: 100% embolization in 5 cases, 90% of embolization in 2 cases, 80% of embolization in 1 case, patients were followed up 1 to 12 months, no case of rebleeding. Conclusion: Endovascular treatment of aneurysm is a safe, minimally invasive and effective treatment methods, the use of GDC embolization materials, easy to operate, less surgical complications. Intracranial aneurysm is an extremely dangerous disease, the incidence of 0.2% ~ 8.9%, its high mortality and disability [1]. In our hospital in May 2005 ~ April 2008 with Guglielmi detachable coils (GDC) embolization of intracranial aneurysms in 8 cases, are reported as follows: 1 Data and methods 1.1 General Information A total of 8 cases in this group, of which 7 males and 1 female, aged 35 to 58 years, with an average 47.5 years of age. Eight cases in seven cases with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) onset, 1 patient with oculomotor nerve palsy admitted to hospital. Proximal internal carotid artery aneurysm in 3 cases, distal internal carotid artery aneurysm in 2 cases, anterior communicating artery aneurysm in 2 cases, top of basilar artery aneurysm in 1 case. Aneurysm diameter and the smallest 5 mm, maximum 31 mm.
