Methods ordinary steam distillation Extraction of volatile oil, using gas chromatography - mass spectrometry analysis of volatile oil chemical components identified, applications peak area normalization method to determine the relative content of each component. The results measured by volatile oil content of Houttuynia cordata 0.97%, identified 13 kinds of chemical components, accounting for the total content of volatile matter 91.40%.
