[Methods] 168 patients were randomly divided into control and treatment group and control group was treated with hormones, neurotrophic agents, anti-inflammatory, antiviral therapy; the treatment group received additional treatment based on syndrome differentiation Chinese herb and acupuncture plus physical therapy. [Results] 40 patients were cured, effective 40 cases, 6 cases, total effective rate was 93.02%; control group, 30 cases were cured, effective 34 cases, 18 cases ineffective, the total effective rate was 78.04%; two groups was significantly different. [Conclusion] The pull is scattered with idiopathic facial paralysis treated with acupuncture to play both the root causes of the effect. [Method] Randomly divide 168 cases into control group and treatment group, the control one take hormone, nerve nutrients, anti inflammation and anti virus medicine for treatment; the other group added with TCM treatment based on differentiation of signs and acupuncture. [Result] In treatment group, 40 cases were cured, 40 had effect, 6 no effect, total effective rate was 93.02%; for control one, they were respectively 30,34,18 and 78.04%. There s marked difference between both on comparison. [Conclusion] Integration of TCM and WM can address both the symptoms and root cause for idiopathic facial paralysis, making it recover quickly and worthy clinical promotion.
