Conclusion Nanchang area for more than four kinds of purslane contained the active ingredient and the alkaloid content is slightly higher than in other areas. MethodsThe active ingredients were extracted in different organ solvent respectively. ResultsThe result showed that several active ingredients content existed in Rortulace olercaeal. The content order was subsequently polysaccharide, alkaloids, flavoinvid material, and polyunsaturated fatty acid. ConclusionThe result shows that four active ingredients really exist in Portulace oleracea L. in Nanchang and alkaloids in Nanchang are higher than the ones in other area.
