Thin Layer Chromatography preparations Tinglizi, Huang Qin, and Polygonum cuspidatum; using high-performance liquid chromatography determination of ephedrine hydrochloride content. The results can be detected by TLC Tinglizi, skullcap, and Polygonum cuspidatum spots, and spots were clear. Ephedrine hydrochloride in the 16.41 ~ 525.0 μ g / mL and between the peak area showed good linear relationship, r = 1.000, the average recovery was 99.89%, RSD 1.42%. Conclusion This method can be used for Qingfei oral quality control. The content of ephedrine hydrochloride was determined by HPLC. Results The spots on TLC plates were clear without interference in the blank control. The liner range of ephedrine hydrochloride was 16  41 ~ 525.0 μ g / mL (r = 1.000). The average recovery of ephedrine hydrochloride was 99.89% and RSD 1.42%. Conclusion The method can be used for the quality control of Qingfei oral liquor.
