Methods A total of 92 sides of 86 cases of open tibial fractures with interlocking intramedullary nail, which reamed group of 54 side of the unreamed group 38 side. wound ambulation with crutches after suture removal, patients were followed up for 6 months to 2 years. The results of reamed and unreamed group set of local infection rate was 20.3% and 5.3% (P lt;0.05) group and non-reamed reamed group, the average healing time was 22.5 weeks and 19 weeks (Pgt; 0.05), respectively, 8 cases of delayed healing, 3 patients.
