Recombinant human granulocyte colony stimulating factor on neurological function after intracerebral hemorrhage injury
Abstract Objective To study the recombinant human granulocyte colony stimulating factor (rhG CSF) to mobilize bone marrow stem cells on intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) after nerve injury. Methods The rats were randomly divided into sham operation group, treatment group, ICH group. Directed by rat brain stereotaxic apparatus, the use of autologous tail artery blood legal model, the treatment group at 1 h after the beginning of abdominal subcutaneous G CSF (50 g kg-1 d-1), rats in the corresponding time points neurological score (NSS) after the death, was observed by immunohistochemistry perihematomal brain caspase 3, Brdu protein. Results The neurological function score and caspase expression were significantly lower than ICH group, both significantly different than (P lt;0.05), positive cells in the treatment group were more than Brdu ICH group, but the difference is only 1 week there significant (P lt;0.05). Conclusion rhG CSF mobilized bone marrow stem cells in intracerebral hemorrhage rats significant neuroprotective effect.

Stem cell transplantation for treatment of cerebrovascular disease and degenerative diseases has achieved some success. But the existence of clinically invasive operation for transplantation, while the difficulties stem cells, in vitro, purification technology is not yet mature and there is transplant rejection and other problems, so that stem cell transplantation for treatment of cerebrovascular disease is difficult in the short term application. Recombinant human granulocyte colony stimulating factor (rhG CSF) to mobilize bone marrow stem cells (BMSC) Some of the strengths of existing stem cells, but also overcome the technical problems of stem cell transplantation,
