 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 7 Retrograde and antegrade ureteroscopy treatment of upper ureteral calculi incarcerated Comparison of the effect Author: Wang Wei Wang Gufeng Guohua Yan Zhen Xu Wen Hongbo [Abstract] Objective To compare the retrograde and antegrade ureteroscopy treatment of upper ureteral calculi incarcerated efficacy, and its safety and effectiveness evaluation. Methods were treated with ureteroscopy for impacted upper ureteral stones in 246 cases, in which retrograde transurethral approach to treat 186 cases, cis-percutaneous renal micro-approach 60 cases of fistula. Results retrograde transurethral approach for surgical success of 173 cases (93%), the average operation time was 35min, the average length of stay 5d, no stone rate of 81.2%, 22 patients required ESWL adjuvant therapy, surgical complications occurred in 9 cases (4.8%); Shun percutaneous renal micro-approach operation is successful fistula 60 cases (100%), mean operative time was 55min, the average length of stay 8d, no stone rate was 100%, no operative complications occurred. Conclusion retrograde and antegrade ureteroscopy treatment for impacted upper ureteral stones have a higher success rate of surgery and postoperative stone-free rate; antegrade approach the safety and effectiveness of the better, but the operative time and hospital stay more long.
