After the success of selective bile duct imaging, endoscopic sphincterotomy (EST) was undergone depending on the situation. Under the x ray fluoroscopy the stone was broken with lithotripter, taken out with wire basket or ballonet or a biliary stent for drainage was placed.Results There was a total of 21 cases, of which 17 cases resulted in a net removal of extrahepatic bile duct stone, and 4 cases completed stent placement.Conclusion Endoscopic retrograde cholangio pancreatography (ERCP) treatment of extrahepatic bile duct stones is safe and effective with few complications, and is the ideal method for the treatment of extrahepatic bile duct stone.
