Experimental group of 50 patients, 37 males and 13 females; aged 18 to 78 years average 52.6 years of age; humeral fractures in 16 cases, 13 cases of femoral shaft fracture, tibia and fibula fractures in 21 patients. the control group of 50 patients, 38 males and 12 females; aged 18 to 77 years, mean 51.8 years; humeral fractures in 18 cases, shares shaft fractures in 13 cases, 19 cases of fracture of tibia and fibula. preoperative diagnosis of both groups were fresh fractures, surgical injury time from an average of 3 d, both by open reduction and internal fixation, severe heart and lung disease were excluded, sequelae of cerebral vascular accident , elderly patients with dementia and mental disorders. the two groups in age, sex, education, surgery and prosthesis fixation and so the difference was not statistically significant (Pgt; 0.05), comparable. 1.2 Methods for safflower injection treatment group (Taiyuan, Shanxi Hua Wei Pharmaceutical Co, Zhunzi 20 ml 5% glucose solution or 250 ml of normal saline before sur
