Method of field investigation, collecting information on identification of specimens combined with access to specimens. Results Salvia plants in Sichuan and Chongqing, there are 38 kinds of 10 varieties three variants, of which 24 taxa as a local Chinese herbal medicine and folk herbal medicine widely used. Conclusion Salvia Sichuan and Chongqing is rich in resources of medicinal plants is worth further development and utilization.
