This paper is a further study of slowly oscillating convergence and slowly oscillating continuity as introduced by C?akalli in [3]. We answer an open question from that paper and relate the slowly oscillating continuous functions to metricpreservingfunctions,thusinfusingthissubject withareadymadecollection ofpathologicalexamples. 1. Introduction As per usual, let R denote the set of real numbers. Although many of these de?nitionsusesubsetsofthereallineorfunctionswhosedomainisasubsetofthe real line, we will state all the de?nitions for the real line. These ?rst de?nitions comefrom[3].
