Critical-size osseous defects cannot heal without surgical intervention and can pose a signi?cant challenge to craniofacial reconstruction. Autologous bone grafting is the gold standard for repair but is limited by a donor site morbidity and a potentiallyinadequate supplyofautologous bone.
