Churchill hasshown how such anintegral transform yields, under certain circumstances, ageneralized convolution operation. Inthispaper,westudytheproperties ofconvolution algebras arising inthisfashion fromaregular Sturm-Liouville problem. Convolution operations serve as an interesting and fruitful link betweenanalysisandalgebra,forexample,see[3,4,5,7].Inthispaper,webeginthe study of aclass of commutative, associative algebras that arise from regular Sturm- Liouville di?erential equations and their associated integral transforms and convo- lutions.
