Viruses carryingthedeletionsintheM39UTRreplicatedmoreefficiently,whichcorrelatedwithareduction ofvirulence, suggestingthatoveralllengthaswellasspecificsequencemotifsdistributedthroughouttheregioncontributetovirulence.
