（4）TRPC1 was scarcely detected in the glomeruli of four-week-old SHR and WKY groups, and there was not significant difference between the two groups (P 0.05);the expression of TRPC1 in eight-week-old SHR and WKY groups glomerular was increased to a small amount, the two groups had no significant differences (P 0.05); the expression of TRPC1 in twelve-week-old SHR group and eighteen-week-old SHR group was significantly elevated while compared with the same week WKY control group (P 0.01);and the expression of TRPC 1 in eighteen-week-old SHR groups’ glomeruli was outreached whereas that of decreased gradually after twenty-four weeks . There was no significant difference between twenty-four-week-old SHR group and twenty-four -week-old WKY group(P 0.05) ；the expression of TRPC1 in thirty-week-old SHR group was decreased while compared with the same week WKY control group (P 0.01) . Conclusions (1) TRPC1 was distributed mainly in the glomeruli;there were only a few positive cells limited to the cortex and outer medulla，and it was barely detected in inner medulla. (2)The expression of TRPC1 in the SHR groups ’glomeruli was increased with the elevation of systolic blood pressure before twenty-four weeks ,and it was decreased after that period of time .
