Public colleges and universities in the curriculum improvement and evaluation of value orientation
[Abstract] At present, China’s colleges and universities the problems of public courses include: a one-sided emphasis on social orientation, it is difficult to meet the moral requirements, and inadequate for the transmission of culture. To solve these problems, the need to change the public curriculum evaluation values, to strengthen the concept for students to highlight the advanced nature of Marxism, carry forward and cultivate the national spirit.

One, college courses in public problem
1. Orientation of social development, too heavy, not enough students to develop orientation
For a long time, China’s higher education embodied in the extrinsic value orientation is mainly based on the theory of value or the community, mainly in the social development needs in mind. Under its influence, colleges and universities are mainly located in public courses to meet the needs of social development, for student life and development needs of individual attention is not enough.
In the public courses, social development, the need for direct values include: principles of Marxist political economy, legal basis, Mao Zedong Thought, ideological and moral cultivation, Principles of Marxist Philosophy, Deng Xiaoping Theory, “Three Represents” important thinking, situation and policy. The hours of these courses accounted for about 10% of the total class hours, accounting for 40% of hours of public courses around, which is obviously not a small proportion.
