Abstract As it is said that difference in profession makes one feel worlds apart, even if they know the meaning of all the words and the structure of the sentences, it is difficult for those not majoring in medicine to understand the medical English while reading the articles of medicine because they haven’t got necessary knowledge of medicine or, to be more precise, they don’t know schema theory in medicine. But for medicine-major students, it is easy to understand the medical articles by inspiring the medical schema in their mind because they have acquired related knowledge of medicine.
