Results show that the four translators have significant difference in translation style due to the cultural background, translation principle and other factors: on the choice of words, Davis’s version is more authentic, flexible and varied; Lin Yutang’s version is full of strong colonial color; Fang Chong’s version specifies the information to make the translation more friendly to readers; Luo Jingguo’s version is faithful to the original text and therefore is easy to understand. R. Davis的《桃花源记》英 译本进行对比研究，分别从语言层面与非语言层面考察四位译者的翻译风格。分析结果表明，由于受文 化背景、翻译思想等因素影响，四位译者翻译风格有明显差异，如Davis在词的选用上更地道、灵活多 样；林语堂先生的译文中带有浓厚的殖民色彩；方重先生在处理译本时，倾向将信息具体化，减轻读者 负担；罗经国的译文忠实原文，简单易懂。
