It explains the evolution and its orientation of the legal system, and it determines the dimension of the legal protection of the groundwater system. The legal protection of groundwater system in the mining area should strengthen the demonstration of water resources in the groundwater planning, ensure the utilization of the water resources, improve the groundwater monitoring and early warning system, and meet the legal requirements for the sustainable utilization of the groundwater system.
